[WT-support] Serial communication log available?

Hello list,

I am a software developer in the www.remoterig.com team. We have had support
requests from our customers saying that after they upgraded to Windows 10
our virtual USB Com ports in the Remoterig device no longer works with
Win-Test. Those Com ports are created when connecting an Remoterig device to
a PC via USB. They are used to forward Win-Test's serial communication
to/from the radio via the Internet. The Remoterig device also has physical
Com ports. If one uses them instead of the virtual USB Com ports, it works
ok.

Now to the strange thing. If I use a serial port monitor/sniffer the data
exchanged using either the USB or the physical Com port looks exactly the
same. For ex:

[02/03/2016 12:18:32] Written data (COM10)

    46 42 3b                                          FB;

[02/03/2016 12:18:32] Read data (COM10)

    46 42 30 30 30 31 34 30 31 34 38 30 30 3b         FB00014014800;

[02/03/2016 12:18:32] Written data (COM10)

    49 46 3b                                          IF;

[02/03/2016 12:18:32] Read data (COM10)

    49 46 30 30 30 31 34 30 32 31 38 38 30 20 20 20   IF00014021880

    20 20 2d 30 30 30 30 30 30 20 30 30 30 33 30 30     -000000 000300

    30 30 32 31 20 3b                                 0021 ;

but when using the USB Com port, it is like Win-Test simply ignores the
replies it gets. So I am wondering if there is some kind of serial
communication log available in Win-Test that could help understand this? Or
some other log file which might contain clues as to why this happens?

Best Regards
