The same function occurs with Yaesu FT-2K, Logs VFO-A.

After checking the code, it appears it is a bit more complicated ;-)

Win-Test takes the active VFO when split is OFF (as I previously wrote), 
but it uses the "Main-VFO" (or VFO-A) when split is ON.

I will check if your specific case (using the Sub-VFO for TX'ing) can be 
processed without breaking anything in the radio functions !
