Hi Joe & all!

Did not quite understand yet what would be the exact actions to reduce
the echo. I tried to look at Windows sound card settings, but found
nothing relevant.

Yes, it is related to your sound card settings in Windows.  The
audio through the sound card must go through analog to digital
conversion, encoding, decoding, and digital to analog conversion
before reaching the transmitter *plus any monitor delay* in the
transceiver.  You can adjust the Windows encoding settings (default
format) to minimize the conversion/encoding delays (Windows Sound
Control Panel).  Some transceivers (e.g., K3) have a "fast" monitor
setting with no ADC/processing/DAC steps to reduce monitor delay.
