On your phone, go to Settings, Tethering and Portable Hotspot and
select Mobile AP settings. Set a name for your AP (access Point) and
WPA2 PSK security setting. Set a password. Select save. Select Mobile
AP checkbox. Now, at your Wintest laptop, connect to the Wifi hotspot
which you have just set up. You can now connect to the cluster using
your favourite cluster. You will get a faster connection if you have a
3G connection but it is not required. Be careful to only connect to
the cluster - this won't use a lot of data. Your mobile telephone
provider may charge you for the data. This all works with my old
Galaxy Android mobile.
