Hi Carmelo,

FYI, your message appeared twice. Why do you want to do PTT via software
commands?

Win-Test relies exclusively on MMTTY to handle all PTT functions. It can
do this via COM port pins that MMTTY controls. You may not need to use
EXTFSK. You can also consider using AFSK and VOX.

Though it's possible to create script that issues a software PTT command to
a radio, it may not have the proper timing when using RTTY mode. But you
can try the technique suggested at the bottom of this
post<http://lists.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2010-June/079662.html>
(which
was for CW). You need to write two LUA scripts, a PTTON.wts and a
PTTOFF.wts, specifically for your radio model. Then try putting #PTTON and
#PTTOFF at the beginning and end of every RTTY message.

But it may not work right. Please experiment and let us know.
