Subject: Re: [WT-support] Please help with Voice keyer
Sometimes typing SETUP [Enter] [Enter] in the Win-Test logging window will
re-initialize all COM ports and fix the PTT delay problems, which many
people have experienced before.
If not, switch from "microHAM control protocol" to "Classic Auto Control",
with PTT via hardware on an LPT or COM port pin instead of using the
microHAM control protocol (software commands), and the delay should go away.
In Win-Test SETUP, you must UNCHECK the COM port that says "microHAM
MKII/MK2R" so that Win-Test doesn't issue any microHAM software commands.
Set the voice keyer sound card to "USB Voice Codec".
See http://www.microham.com/Downloads/MK2R_Win-Test_LPT_Setup.pdf, but if
you don't have a printer port you can use virtual COM port pins instead of
LPT port pins. Set the COM port to "Other device" in Win-Test and program
DTR and RTS pins to match the setup you define in the Router software.

Hello!
I'm running Win-Test with microHAM MK2R+
I use WinTest Voice keyer. If I push F1 for CQ message, CQ is starting not
immediately, but with abt. 2 second delay To send "CQ" again, I have to
press Esc button. Without pressing Esc no "CQ" is running. Auto CQ is also
not working. Any help?
