I've just learned that if you use Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) to log on to the Win-Test download web sites:

  http://download.win-test.com/v4/bin

-or-

  http://download.win-test.com/v4/nightly

if when prompted to log in, you try to copy and paste your web site password into IE9, it doesn't work! This is some kind of new security feature of IE9 that could cause much frustration. Other browsers (Firefox, Google Chrome) don't work like that; password copy and paste works OK (for now).

However, if you type your Win-Test web site password into the IE9 login box, taking care to get the upper and lowercase letters correct, it works OK. Just check the "remember password" box to save yourself from ever having to type the password again.
