You are the first to post anything about this radio to the Win-Test
reflector, so chances are no one else has tried to make it work with
Win-Test yet.

See http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Supported_rigs#Other_Icom_radios for
information on how to make the radio work. The hex address needs to be
coded into WT.INI. Assuming the radio is set to the default address (76h),
try selecting Radio type to "IC-Generic" in Win-Test after adding the
following to WT.INI:
[Interfaces]
IcomGenericRadio1=76h
Another option is to set the Win-Test radio type to OmniRig and use the
free OmniRig software to talk to the radio (http://www.dxatlas.com/omnirig).

No, the only radio that is known to support ON/OFF CW keying via the serial
port pins is the Elecraft K3.

If the radio's sound card is listed in Windows Device Manager as an
ordinary Windows sound card capable of recording and playback, then that
should work OK. Just select it from the drop-down list as the Win-Test
Contest Recorder or DVK or both.
