[WT-support] Emergency - cannot create IARU log files

Hi All,

We ran into a very inconvenient issue which I've never came across since I
use WT.
Lesson learnt, every time to check the wt4 file before the first key
stroke...

It's important to mention this time I had to use other machine (XP) at the
contest station.

I set up the contest file at the beginning as usual, done the whole 24
hours of contest
but at the end when I tried to create the CBR log file but it did not
produce anything.
I checked the whole machine and there is *no* wt4 file at all. It seems
it's still in the memory
so we kept the machine on.

I reproduced this on my own laptop as well and it seems if I specify a
folder where (let say C:\Program Files\Win-test\)
WT has no write access the same happens. So I assume this is a write
privileges problem.

Frankly I've never checked this part of the documentation if this exists
and as I personally don't like to use any folder
outside "My Documents" I never found this out either.

So now I have a machine on with a running WT instance including the whole
contest log.
There is no wt4 file on the HDD and I cannot create CBR file.

I have an idea trying to make a backup onto a USB stick.
As an ER solution I created print screens about the whole contest log (man
it's a lot).

Is there any other way to save the log and avoid the slave typing mode?
:-)

Thanks a lot in advance.

73!
