I don't really understand what you mean by "got a handshake," but perhaps
you are saying that the WinKey and K3 are working OK. Please note, Prolific
USB-to-Serial adapters are notoriously unreliable, so I strongly recommend
substituting another FTDI USB-to-Serial adapter for the Prolific one. The
Prolific adapter may work for a little while, but it may quit working in the
middle of a contest. Many people have reported unresolvable problems using
that adapter.

You are missing WtDxTelnet. If you did a complete install of the full
version http://download.win-test.com/v4/bin/wt-4.7.0.exe) you should have an
icon that you can start via Start | All Programs | Win-Test | wtDxTelnet.
You can download it individually too, from:
http://download.win-test.com/wtDxTelnet/bin/
Be sure to read the FAQ
page<http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/FAQ:DX_Cluster_and_wtDxTelnet>for
configuration instructions.
Did you connect both computers to an Ethernet network?
