Glad to hear that. Thanks Fabio. I will test it tomorrow night. Maybe indeed then Rate window is not necessary at all.

Hi Tonno,

the QSY countdown is showed in the ALT J and is networked, so everyone in the network knows which band has the 10min time slot assigned and when it will be released. Great tool, used in the last CQWW SSB with one RUN and 3 multiplier station.

The Status windows allow u to know when the QSY is allowed and also the Freq of the networked PC, so is the right place, even a duplicate information in the Rate window can be useful, but not really needed.

You are right, I saw that feature. But that does not tell to a multiplier station who is waiting on a new band how much time is left. It only displays WAIT. If the countdown is actually in the program then why would it not be shown on RATE window for ALL STATIONS? That should be the aim of the RATE window, right? It says LAST BAND CHANGES but actually displays two countdowns that are both wrong.

Can this actual countdown that is anyway displayed for this particular station on HIS Status window be included in the RATE window for everyone to see?

It would be important for the RUN station to know how much time is left till the QSY of MULT station can be made to arrange a QSY for example.

I am not in my QTH and cant check the STATUS window in network but I think the countdown of one station is not shown in the STATUS window of the other stations, is it? If it was then it would solve the issue more less of course...

Use the Status Window [Alt-J], not the Rate window.

See the QSY Timers<http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Multi-op/Status_window#QSY_Timers> section in the Wiki.

Sorry to bring that up again but I have received no comments and it seems to a very important issue for MS in CQWW. I have never used WT for MS in CQWW CW or SSB. WT guys reacted very fast and fixed the MS band change counter for CQWW RTTY a day before the contest.

Is it possible to fix the MS 10 minute counter in the RATE window to show the actual time elapsed from the first QSO on the new band (the band where the last QSO was entered) for RUN as well as for MULT station?

Please comment guys if you can. This is essential for efficient MS operation!

Something strange there. The Rate window should show how many minutes have elapsed from the MULT station last QSY, right?

It should tell how many minutes ago the mult station made the first QSO on the current active MULT band.

But it does not tell it. There are two display options:

- time between QSOs on the same band.

What is that? Why would anyone need to know that?

- time since the previous band was QUIT.

What is that? Why would a mult station care when the previous band was QUIT? He needs to know when the previous band was ENTERED!

The necessary counter seems to be missing or am I missing something here?
