[WT-support] Possible solution for pauses or stuttering in Win-Test CW

At WRTC, RX9TL brought me one of RA3AUU's notebook computers that had a very
strange Win-Test problem. The Win-Test-generated LPT CW would send fine for
a while, but every now and then, it would pause or stutter. N2IC and I
looked at it for about an hour, but finally gave up without a solution.

N2NT recently had another computer with exactly the same problem, and with a
lot of persistence, using a free program called Process Explorer, Andy was
able to find the program that was using 100% CPU for brief periods
corresponding to the stuttering CW.

The program that was doing this was the Windows Print Spooler, Spoolsv.exe.

This link describes how to stop the print spooler, which fixes the Win-Test
stuttering CW problem:

Short answer:

   1. In the Control Panel window, first double-click on *Administrative
   Tools* and then on *Services*.
   2. In the right pane of the Services window locate and right-click on *Print
   Spooler* and then select *Stop*.

If you're not using the printer, you can also end the spoolsv.exe process
using the Windows Task manger.
