Paul,

First, if you subscribe to the "digest", be sure to delete then entire
digest from your replies, and try to match the subject line of the message
to the individual message you are replying to, if any.

Regarding the folder to store MSTER.SCP, a shortcut is to start Win-Test 4
and do File | Explore | /databases directory. That opens Windows Explorer
to the correct location, whether it is hidden or not. Then just drag and
drop the new MASTER.SCP file to that folder and you are done. If you put
MASTER.SCP in the root "Application Data" folder as described below in step
17, it won't work. It has to go in the Win-Test\databases subfolder.

Which part of the referenced Wiki documentation was unclear?

It would be great if Win-Test could download the latest MASTER.SCP file to
the correct location as easily as it handles cty_wt_mod.dat (text command
shortcut: COUNTRYFILES). Maybe some day.

That's another hint, if you're using cty.dat instead of cty_wt_mod.dat, I
don't think you'll be happy with the results. Win-Test more accurately
determines country and continent if you use cty_wt_mod.dat.
