[WT-support] Mixed Mode QSOs

Bob,
I think it would be a good option to allow the deletion of the 9 in the sent
report at least, without reporting the entry as being incomplete. This only
really applies if sending CW and receiving SSB. Wintest supports thousands
of contests that support cross-mode QSOs - mostly VHF! In my experience
cross mode QSOs are very common in VHF contests.

Most contests supported by Win-Test do not permit cross mode contacts.
Even for those that do, I assume cross mode contacts are quite rare.
Therefore, if the requested feature is added to Win-Test, I sure hope it
will only work that way for the limited number of contests that might need
it, rather than work like that for all contests.

When I was logging QSOs during the IARU / RSGB 144MHz last weekend I
noticed
that if I am using CW (the radio is set to CW), but the station I am
working
is on SSB, I need to enter a report with only 2 numbers (e.g. 55) but I
have
to enter 3 numbers (e.g. 559).
Can I suggest that if one has chosen All Modes during setup one is
allowed
to enter any report format one wishes when logging, to allow for
cross/mixed
mode.
