Almost anything is *possible*, but I think most top contesters who tried to
use the old K1EA DVP to automatically send callsign phonetics and serial
numbers quickly abandoned it because it just sounded too unnatural and it
was too slow. Unlike CW, it was too easy to tell that the exchange was
being sent by a "robot," and since most people prefer to have QSOs with
actual humans, the QSO rate would just drop.

Finally, to get the DVP to sound *almost* OK, you had to make a recording of
every possible pair of letters and numbers, and that took a very long time.

Personally, I'd rather see the developers concentrate on fixing remaining
bugs (see http://bugs.win-test.com), and only add features that will help it
catch up with the competition, such a visible dupe sheet (badly needed for
the Sprint contests), SO2V, improved SO2R with side-by-side data entry
columns and independent code speeds between Radio 1 and Radio 2, support for
more than two MMTTY windows, and Calif. QSO Party support (or alternatively,
"user defined contest" support via new LUA script functions or config.
files).
