Try using $CURRENT or $PREV instead of $LOGGEDCALL.

$CURRENT, $NEXT, $PREV, $GRABPARTNER, and custom variable name support were
added in version 3.26, but apparently never made it into the Wiki
documentation (they were only described in Release.txt).

I just updated these sections in the Wiki and included some examples.
