[WT-support] Win-Test does not meet my need!

Wow, thats a strong statement..

I have to say that our experience at the k5D operation at desecheo, running Win-test was a fenomenal one..
with over 115k qsos and over 8k qsos on rtty we were glad to use such a stable and functional software.

Ive used it for the last CQWW for at least 13k contest qsos as well as RTTY and found it to be great..
Im not saying you dont have the right to demand your purchased product to be as advertised..just
that I think that the "minimal contest software needs" is a little unfair and certainly not the experience of many
very active contesters and Dxpeditioners.

Regards,

Felipe

Subject: [WT-support] Win-Test does not meet my need!

  Hi Larry,

Win-Test does not meet my minimal amateur radio contest software needs in
its current version. This program does not perform as advertised in the
features section of the Win-Test website. Developers of this software
appear to not have any plans to correct the current problems in the near
future. Two specific examples of Win-Test not living up to its advertised
features are RTTY performance and Cabrillo performance. Since it doesn't
meet my minimal needs and advertised features I WANT A REFUND OF MY 45
EUROs. Please send me a refund through PayPal as soon as possible.

  Quotes from you:

RTTY - As a convenience, not a feature: I rather say it would be VERY LOW
on our priorities of dvpt. You must know that RTTY has been added on
Win-Test more for convenience of users who were using it for CW and Phone
contesting. We added the majors RTTY contests (CQWW, WPX, WAE) and some
others, but we never claimed Win-Test to be the best RTTY logger ever.
Despite many users won their categories in these contests with it ;-) They
  accepted the unacceptable, you see...

Cabrillo - on having to manually edit file: I always thought (and Olivier
too, as he wrote this part of the code), that this Cabrillo line had to be
filled with the State (or DX). I see it can be different for some ARRL
sections. So, yes, for now, you have to fill it manually (read : edit the
  Cabrillo file).
