[WT-support] Appreciation but still Rotor questions

While I appreciate the "how to" Rotator data now on Win-Test Wiki, I
still have a problem with the functioning of "wtRotators" in a "stand
alone" operation. It may well be due to my numerous attempts to get the
program up and running before the "how to" data appeared....I am not
certain how many little "green"control boxes may be "floating" around in
the computer reflecting my past attempts to get the program functioning
(I have seen more than one of them appear at the same time) and that
may or may not be contributing to my inability to enter and have an
"offset" figure compensate for a "skewed" antenna to rotor mounting.
Early on (before seeing the new "how to" data) I had wtRotators running
"stand-alone" but with a 28 degree error between any physical antenna
position and the degrees showing in the wtRotators control box display.
Even after following the "Offset" instructions from the new "how to"
data the degree error remains....regardless of any offset figure
entered. Apparently no compensation is applied to the HY-GAIN DCU-1
rotor or to the azimuth degree control in wtRotators.

If it is a problem having possibly more than one "setup" configuration
conflicting with another(s) how can I "dump" wtRotators.exe and start
from scratch? By the way, my computer is an XP operating system and
unless I misread it, wtRotators does not list the XP as a "choice" but
does list older operating systems? I would appreciate comment and
suggestions since my prime interest in version 4.0.1 was "rotor control'
via Win-Test. W7UPF.
