Hi Bob

Thanks for all the info, it has made some good reading, I have solved the problem by using two com ports which is what I thought was the only way to do it(or 1 com and 1 lpt port). So have wt on com 5 and EXTFSK on com 1 for some reason I felt you could do both on the same comport but obviously its not possible, I knocked up the transistor cct to key the radio from the DTR line of COM 1. Still tts life all working fine now.
