[WT-support] default.dta file

The manual says

<<If a file named DEFAULT.SCP or DEFAULT.DTA is in the WT directory, it 
will be used as default file for
partial and N+1 checks instead of contest-specific default file.>>

but when I put this ( default.dta) in either c\:program files\win-test 
or any of the directories in c:\documents and settings\all 
users\application data\win-test ( root or sub.) , it is not invoked and 
the contest specific file is still used.

Is there something else I need to do?
