Jan-Eric: It still appears that there is one more WT Telnet client
(WTDxTelnet.exe) running on your PC or on the network you are connected to.

Did you leave it running on your laptop or any other machine at home? Is
your wife surreptitiously playing with WinTest in her chamber?

Besides the Task Bar, check on the Process tab of Task Manager that you only
have one instance of WTDxTelnet.exe running.

Open up wtDxTelnet and go to Options-> Network properties. Temporarily tick
"Disable communication with Win-Test" and then OK. Still seeing double after
that? Try also temporarily changing Port number in the same box to something
different from 9871. Still two DX announcements? (Remember to restore the
settings afterwards)

When you do an uninstall and reinstall it might be that WT leaves the
wintest.ini file in its program folder and/or artifacts in the register. You
might try it again but then go to Program Files and manually delete the
Wintest folder (or at least wt.ini and wtDxTelnet.ini) before the new
install. This would probably also wipe out your WinTest registration so will
need to redo that. I don't know if WT uses the register.

Good luck
