Actually, in these msgs, the following variables are allowed :

$MYCALL, $QTC, $TIME (time of current QTC), $CALLSIGN (of the current 
QTC), $SERIAL (of the current QTC), $DONE (eq. to 'OK' and '+'), $VALID 
(eq. to 'OK'), $NEXT (next QTC), $SERIE (QTCs string) and $13 (RTTY only).

Nobody complained abt the lack of $LOGGEDCALL yet ;-)  Adding it looks 
feasible in our dvpt trunk, if you really need it !
