This is however not the mode I want so I uncheck that box with the hope that
I can always control the speed with the WinKey pot - I want the automatic cw
and the paddle cw to be seemless. In this case the rate window shows only
one speed.
Yes it would be nice if Win-Test's WinKey support to offered four choices:
1. Independent speed control between Win-Test and pot (works great today,
but we need a command to manually sync the pot speed with the Win-Test
speed, so you don't have to turn a knob to get the two speeds back in sync).
2. One speed, set by Win-Test, ignore the pot completely
3. One speed, set by the pot, ignore the Win-Test Alt-F9/F10 completely, but
respect the "++" and "--" commands in CW messages. Alt-V can be used to
reprogram the current pot speed.
4. Speed can be controlled by both the pot and by Win-Test, all adjustments
(knob turn and Alt-F9/Alt-F10) adjust speed up or down relative to the
current WinKey speed. Alt-V can be used to reprogram the current speed.
