Olivier, thank you. here are my observations so far :
Good
1 - Sending on external paddle prevents F Key message - now fixed.
2 - Erratic speed changes - now fixed.
3 - Left and right numbers changing between internal and Winkey speeds -
now fixed
3a - Left = Internal, right = Winkey
Not so good
4 - Alt F9/10 varies internal keyer speed but now sends ' also,
.----. New
5 - Speed range for Winkey still 20 to 60wpm. This means for 99.999% of
its uses only the first half of the travel of the pot is usable and
therefore variations between that range ie 20-40 wpm, are not very
controllable.
6 - The +/- characters are sending nu in the message. Doesn't
really bother me as I take them out anyway. (I really do hate speeded up
characters!! They are of no benefit for most contests and operators.
Many recipients of speeded up messages find them irritating. I would
prefer them as optional rather than default)
