Hi all!
Some status report after visiting at OH2BH´s site again last Wednesday:
I first tried with old computer and same problem did appear again. No SSB
messages were played and router and WT did crash a couple of times.
I did took off the old WIN 98 computer and I´d replace it with brand
new power full XP
computer. After setting up everything system began to work. It was
working OK all
the time and also that DVK timing problem with empty time at the beginning of
the message was gone.
I ques that the problem was those virtual COM ports. With older computer it took
a while to create those COM ports and maybe handling many virtual ports was
too much for computer. But this is just a lucky guess. It´s
interesting that if the
problem was those virtual COM ports, why that COM port taking care of DVK was
causing problems but other functionalities were working OK.
Anyway the system is up again but needs some more testing to be sure
that everything is OK and no such a failure will happen again!
At this point it looks like that problems were caused by the computer,
not MK2R+, Router or WT! I really hope that this is the case.
