Polling is off (not checked - otherwise it is even slower) and use CI-V
Transceive is also not checked.

It may be not only a speed issue but also a CI-V Transceive mode one.

Note that from version 3.3.5 (Sep 20, 2006), you can enable or not the 
CI V transceive mode for ICOM radios in the Options / Interface settings :
