I just tried it, once connected to the VE7CC DX Cluster via his utility 
(as described before), and the SH/DX is working fine for me...

Don't forget there is a timeout parameter based on the spot time, so 
older spots will never be been displayed in the Alt-A or the radios 
windows. You can set this timeout in the Properties dialog of the radios 
windows.

Which DX cluster are you connected to ? The spots parser may fail if the 
usual syntaxes of the data flow are not adapted to the parser which is 
coded.
