Hi Tom,
You must set the serial port for the CAT as follows:
Bits per second - 4800
Data bits - 8
Parity - None
Stop Bits - 2 bits (this defaults wrongly [for an FT1000MP anyway] to 1)
DTR Pin 4
RTS Pin 7 Both set to Active Radio.

Subject: [WT-support] win-test
Hi guys
I just downloaded and registered Win-test. Can somebody who is operating it with an FT1000MP advise me of the rig/com port settings. I can hear the CW perfect on the computer speaker, but it does NOT key the rig..
I have also tried with OM7ZZ microKEYER. This does key the rig but the sending speed does not appear stable and varies. Its as though wintest is fighting with winkey????
Any help appreciated.
I will be in Germany this weekend.
