yes - but i ha\ve ben observing all the other posts.

I was varying the speed by use of th speed knob and the Alt -9/10 buttons.
Maybe this was part of my problem but not all.   I eventually settled on the
speed pot at zero - fully anti clockwise and varied the speed with alt-f9/10
but there was still some wandering.....
